GE-15 – Rafizi: Vote for Party Who Will Fight For Better Wages

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 31 – KEADILAN has urged voters to choose a party that can fight for better wages.

KEADILAN deputy president, Rafizi Ramli said that the future government after GE15 should prioritise solving the wage crisis and calculating the average wage, not just the minimum wage.

He added that it was the government’s responsibility to raise the better value of the nation’s economic structure.

“There have been underpaid graduates who only received RM2,000 monthly salary, and most of them are contractually, as opposed to permanently employed,”

“Sometimes, they had to work as food riders and did small business to make ends meet,

“If this scenario plays out, we will deal with a generation that no longer desires to pursue higher education and feels it is merely a waste of money,” he said in a statement today.

He also believed that he is the only politician who would fight for people’s wages, and he was confident that the majority of people would agree with him.

Recently, KEADILAN president, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim took a swipe at Barisan Nasional and Pas, saying that the parties have failed the people in managing the economy.

Anwar said that the rising cost of living, which did not reflect the increase in wages, showed how the federal administration helmed by BN and Perikatan Nasional, which Pas is a part of, has failed the public.

Also, he said that prices for everything went up, and there was no point in supporting Barisan Nasional (BN).

He added that the only thing that did not increase was the people’s salaries. which made difficult for people to survive.
